Will installing aftermarket clutch fix the infamous "TSB-053"??
I'm looking into putting in an aftermarket clutch when my supercharger is being installed, will it fix this problem that plagues all of us early owners, or is it directly related to the tranny?

i always get tsb's 53 and 54 confused. if 53 is the one with the grinding synchro's and stacking tolerance problem, then no an aftermarket clutch won't fix it. if its the one with the buzzing sound at 3k-4k rpm, then yes an aftermarket clutch will fix it.

The gear lash in the S2000 transmission is what sets up the vibration in the springs on the clutch friction disk. Honda has worked harder than anyone else to damp this vibration so it is likely the use of a OEM disk or a one based upon the latest OEM disk will be the quietest.
