Default will a f20c2 block work with f20c1 head, wiring harness, and ecu

Hi I have a 2002 ap1 that needs its f20c engine rebuilt as the main bearings are shot and oil pressure was extremely low. I looked at a couple of options of having it rebuilt with all oem parts and also looked at doing the inline pro built block. I recently found a f20c block fully assembled from Honda that still comes with the honda 1 year warranty. After doing some research(please correct me If I am wrong) there was the f20c1 which is what the US got from 2000 to 2003 and is what I have currently and then there is the f20c2 that the Europe got from 2004 and on. The block that I found for sale is coming from the uk and I couldn't find too much online but the part number seems to be the f20c2 block. I am not sure what is all different from the f20c1 to f20c2, I have heard the compression ratio is but that is only thing I could really find as different. Does anyone know if I could use the f20c2 block and just throw my f20c1 head on it and hook it up to my existing wiring harness and ecu? I can't think of any reason there would be different wiring connections for the f20c2 block but I am not sure. Also if anyone has any advice on what would be the best option for a relatively cheap(nothing with f20c is actually cheap) and reliable track car that at some point down the road would be supercharged but not shooting for anything crazy probably around the 450whp. If I were to rebuild my current one would definitely need its cylinder walls honed and might need to be sleeved as the scoring seems to be right on the limit of how much they can hone and finding a used f20c in the US has been hard as all the options I have found have been extremely expensive and still have the unknown of what condition it is in.

You just lost the crank and bearings? Why not just replace the crank and bearings? If your cylinder walls are intact, you shouldn't need to do more to rebuild. It's cheaper than getting a replacement engine.

F20c1 is the standard engine. In 2004 the U.S. got the F22c, and Europe got the F20c2, which is just new retainers. The heads should swap over for pre dbw cars.

Euro and JDM cars had slightly higher CR.

Thanks for the confirmation on the heads being able to swap and about my engine the cylinder walls are scored and they might be able to be honed but there is a chance they need to be sleeved.

All years in the EU have a F20C2, it's not like F20C2 replaced F20C1 or anything. F20C1 is for US and F20C2 is for EU (and F20C is for Japan).

Also only the F20C had higher compression, EU and US compression ratio is the same.

There have been a few issues with recently found "NOS" blocks coming out of the EU, possibly with lack of proper long term storage. There doesn't seem to be much information on these blocks other than they are supposedly "NOS" from somewhere. Maybe the Euro folks have a better feel for the situation....?
