No, you're not. You can get the Spoon TB or have a tapered bore done on your TB.

Kingmotorsports is selling Skunk2 70mm TB and they have 2004-2007 applications so i assume it should work with DBW. I would contact either Skunk2 or King to find out more info.

Big Bore TB

I bought one when I had MY05 and it worked great!

I plan on sending mine over to them soon. Cool guys to deal with.

I saw the Skunk2 and the TODA sports TB's and they both are listed for the 04-07 S2K's but they DONT interchange. Unless they send you one for the 06-07 only or one for the 04-05 only. The DBW sending unit is directly mounted on the side of the TB where the throttle cable would mount on the pre-06 TB's.
Id call King Motorsports first cause it sounds too good to be true. Either way, if you can leave your car parked for a week or so then send your 06-07 TB to SoS.

I think last time we discussed the Spoon TB, we found that there is no point on getting a larger bore TB if your IM bore is not going to be enlarged as well.

Then again Spoon could put their name on a spoon and tell you it will feed you 2x faster and you would buy it for $1k
