As title states wondering if an AP2 single floor mat anchor will bolt up and work the same as buying an ap1 floor mat anchor?
I don't have one in my car, posted a WTB thread and someone has an AP2 one so need to know if it will work or not.

I don't think so but not sure. i know the floors in the ap1 are alittle differnt than the ap2s. ap1s havea bump right in front of the seats. i don't think the ap2s have this bump i the floor.

They are listed with different part numbers, so no.

Ok cool. Thanks. Found an AP1 anchor anyways so went with that.

All of the car's floor pans are the same, with the exception of the 06+ cars. They were changed under the passenger's seat for the CAT. But from a floor mat standpoint, they are all the same.

The anchors differ just a bit with the 00 not having them at all, as the mats were an add on. The 01 came with mats, and a single anchor onm the drivers side. The 02+ car all have two anchors on the drivers side. All have no anchors on the passenger side.

I do know that you can buy and install an anchor on the 00/01 cars. It is really not a hard install at all.

I must get one for my 01 then. Is it adjacent to the stocker, or up high by the pedals? My mat likes to twist up onto the dead pedal.

They are both on the rail in front of the seat. one on the left and the other on the right. I don't remember what side they installed it on for the 01.

Yeah mine does the same thing. I got the mc mats and thought they would stay since it goes over the hump but still twists and goes up and over the dead pedal. Really annoying. Had the car over 2 years and finally decided to get the anchor lol. Been annoying me ever since I had the car though lol.

Cool. The stock anchor is on the left side. I had to put a tech screw in it to keep it from turning too. Guess I'll use one to fasten the second anchor.
