My MY03 doesn't make any buzzing sound

I have heard that the buzzing is caused by the springs on the friction disk. The MY01 and the MY03 have the same part # listed for the PP, but different part #'s for the friction disk. The part # for the MY01 friction disk is 22200-PCX-045. The MY03 is 22200-PCX-055.

It makes me wonder why there are two different part #'s if the disk has been updated (improved)

I have a CM Stage 3 Carbon/Kevlar clutch and a Spoon Flywheel and I still have the buzzing issue. The car drives 100 times better so I just deal with the noise or keep out of that rpm range.
I used to have the clutchmasters stage 3 on my Type R and I loved it. It's not that I don't want to hear it, it's just an issue of what can I do to stop the problem. MY02-03 dont have the problem, so what's the deal with MY00-01....? Also, it's quite hard to keep out of that rpm range on a downshift coming to a stoplight you know....any downshift while slowing down should put you into that 4,000 to 2,000 rpm range.

The MY04 has the same part #'s as the MY03 for the friction disk and PP.

I would think if someone asked for the 22200-PCX-055 instead of the 22200-PCX-045, they shouldn't have any problems. My clutch works perfect.

The clutch that Honda replaced my original with started buzzing after about 2000 miles.
When did Honda replace your clutch disk?

this is why

If you look on the upper right hand corner, you will see it is dated Nov, 27th 2001.

You did not get the updated disk. Part number 22200-PCX-055 is the updated disk that you did not get. I have absolutely no problemo's with my clutch

Honda has taken care of the clutch buzz.
