Will an 06 Steering wheel RETROFIT into an My00? Since the cruise controls differs...

Yes. I installed an MY04 wheel in my MY02. The harness inside is the same. They just added button, but no wires. The MY06 wheel is the same as the MY04-05.

Let me clarify my question now

I have an 06 Steering wheel with no Cruise Control unit on it.
I also have an MY00 Complete Steering wheel with the CC unit.

Can I take the Cruise Control unit off MY00, (2 buttons) and adapt it on the My06 steering wheel and still make it functional?

The MY06 has CC stock right? The one I drove did, so I assume the rest do too.

The MY06 has the same Steering wheel as the MY04, right? The switch is the same MY04-06. So if I could use the MY04 switch (three buttons) on my MY02, and the MY02 switch is the same as MY00-03 (two buttons).

Then logically the MY00 switch can be used on MY06.

We (Rick's) have core steering wheels from just about every year. We do the core exchange on the leather wrapped wheels, so we have a few. All of the outer parts on one can be swapped to the other. The year does not matter.

If I am step in here, the geneses of his question is he is interested in buying my OEM steering wheel. I am having a Momo steering wheel installed, and am having the c/c relocated to my cup holder area. So, I am selling him my OEM steering wheel without the c/c.
