I've got a wierd noise coming from my transmission. it sounds like a loose fan belt. it only happens during acceleration and i can't figure out for the life of me what it is.

When was the last time you changed your transmission oil? And what oil did you use?

I changed the trans oil a week ago and used honda trans fluid.

are you sure it's your tranny and not your diff? I had the same noise, but it was from the diff, but I never thought anything over it. Later it blew up on me, and I ended up getting another one.

Check out your diff now, before it costs you a LOT of money like me.

Belt squeal noise on acceleration is a very common thing on the s2k, and it's usually intake whistle.

Don't condemn the trans just yet....

well here is an update the squealing is still the same but now i have a high pitched whining sound between idle and seven grand i was told there was a service bulletin put out about it but i have yet to find it. Any help?
