I use Mobil 1 10w30 also, usually around 5.5 quarts. When I first switched to Mobil 1 with around 10,000 miles on the car, I could actually feel the car run smoother.
No offense.. but I think it might have been in your mind. Synthetic oil shouldn't change the way your car feels.. just takes longer to break down, and handles heat better. Maybe you needed to change the oil really bad before you switched. If you ever feel a difference when you do an oil change, it probably needed to be changed really bad

Well....
If one would change from a 10W-30 to, lets say, a 0W-40 one would certainly notice a difference during cold morning starts.

In My Honest Opinion Based On My Own Experiences.

And I changed from a 5W-40......

yup.. but that has to do with the wieght of the oil... not the type of oil used. But, Im sure you already knew that There's always got to be one person to prove someone wrong with a technicality

I use mobil clean drive 5000 mile -- same stuff honda uses in their oil changes. I have had no reason to switch or try anything else.

I switch my oil every 3500 for the record but this oil can go to 5000 miles

i used mobil 1 10w30 on my last change, i feel no difference at all whatsoever. I think im just gonna switch back to regular next time
I noticed a smoother idle and I like the longer service intervals with synthetic.

(Mobil 1 10w30)

BTW: What the hell is mobile 1? Does that stuff come from Alabama???
