Why is there noise coming from PCV area?

it's possible. ramifications are increased pollution and won't pass a smog check.

i'm wondering if you have a "clog" in your exhaust system, maybe the catalytic converter is clogged up.

Wouldn't that start throwing a CEL? CAT was replaced with new OEM about 5 years ago. New primary O2 sensor was replaced with OEM last year (wasn't necessary but did it anyway).

i don't know if it would throw a code. maybe someone stuffed some potatoes in your muffler or exhaust?

detach upstream of the cat and see if the problem goes away?

Default Solutions?

I just started getting the same noise last week minus the blowing of the dip stick just the noise. Were there any solutions found?
