Why my test pipe rattled...

I'm running a megan test pipe also on my '06. I rattles about 3 days after the install. Then after about 2 weeks it went away. I knew it was the heat shield, but I didn't want to remove it. I'm glad it just went away. I could hear the rattle during 2 gear revs, before it went away.
