Why are my coilovers making noises?
I have an 03 s2k with tein type flex coilovers running for about 2 years now. Recently if i go over any little bump or bump at all the coilovers make a springy squeking noise . Do i have to send my coilovers in to re-valve them or do i need new springs or do i need spring silencers?
Thaks for any help posted, Alex

I am using those T1R b-max coilcovers now...and they are the loudest thing in the world !!!
I bought a lot of springs wrap/rubber to put the around the springs, and noise is still there....
I think it's the shocks thats making noise....I will throw them away in sping time..and get the Spoon yellow shocks and progressive springs....
Hopefully that will give me better ride quality and NO MORE noise...
Good luck

i dont know if its the same noise you go goin on, but on my supra it makes a weird squeky noise, but it seems to only happen when i have the dampening set lower, if i have it halfway-full dampening there is no noise, just the noise of the shock itself

Just to make things clear...
After talking with Ben from AJ, I found out my coilcovers are the prototype, which
was never been in production....
I thought mine and the production model were very similar, but I guess not anymore....TOTALLY different !!!
My understanding of the production model now is that they are built in high quality
and also with tight tolerance...
I wish I had the production model...so that I don't have the problems that I am
having now...
Have to say Ben was a nice guy to deal with...he took the time and explained to
me what happened and why...etc...
Bump for a good seller!!!
Everyone should buy all their stuff from AJ !!!
