If its white smoke its coolant not oil.
Oil smoke is blue.
For the OP, I really am not sure on your problem but next time you get a CEL stop at autozone and have them check it, its free.

Normal thing in my opinion. My prelude and now my S2K did that. After racing the car and beating on it you put stress on parts, and I'm sure they are hotter then usually, I'm sure the ECU is also making adjustment to your driving. So things getting hotter, under hood temp increasing dramatically will cause sensors and the metal parts to make NOT ABNORMAL but different sounds.
