This is kind of annoying. Sometimes it does it sometimes it doesn't. Tonight it didn't really do it much after it was cooler outside, idk if that has something to do with it or not. But when I did the video it was atleast 90* outside. What I'm talking about is when the revs come down it does that b-d-d-d-d-d-d thing when it is supposed to idle smooth. thanks

Yeah, that's rather common. Happens when the engine in injesting a good bit of hot air. I don't recall the most common alleviation folks do, however.

Its common, after the car idles for a bit and gets used to the hotter air it will stop doing it so frequently but it will still do it time to time. As long as it doesnt stall, don't worry

that's what i thought thanks. i'm just paranoid cuz today my CEL came on and apparently when we were taking off the oil filter yesterday and changing my oil i knocked a lil hose loose that has something to do with an air intake pump or some BS. then the clutch buzz seemed like it was getting louder. PARANOIA! just keeps coming in lol

When you "blip" the throttle like that, it aggravates this situation. If you don't like to see the rpm dip like that, STOP BLIPPING THE THROTTLE. It's a common phenomenon with this car (and others as well) that you confuse the shit out of the ECU by blipping it at certain times when air temp, humidity, air pressure, engine temp, oil temp, etc. are just so.

i was only doing it to demonstrate what i was asking about. blipping the throttle was easier and SAFER than tryin to video tape while driving and come to a stop and get what was going on on video.

I realize this, but I'm thinking that's the sort of thing you do on the road when this happens. What I mean is that it is likely you try to "help" it by giving it gas to stop it from dipping down so low ("blipping" or momentarily giving it gas) or you give it gas to see if it'll do it again. This only prolongs the time it will take to "learn" not to do it.

xviper - no blipping! After all those years of driving carborated engines, blipping is an automatic reaction... I'm going to need drugs to cure this
