Why do S2000 ECUs' (or atleast mine) have to be reset frequently

I should have said PCV not EGR... I guess I should not respond when still half asleep.

Do clean your TB first... I found mine will accumulate oil residue over time and a cleaning every couple of years makes a noticible difference.

Have you made sure the heat class on the new NGK plugs is COLDER or the SAME than the stock (7 is stock) since Iridium has different spark characteristics than the platinum OEM ones? This should only make a large difference at high rpms though..

Are they'r any signs that indicate it's time for a valve adjustment.? I got my car my02 with around 60k miles maybe 5 years ago now has around 96k miles I have never done one, got it at a auction so I don't know if the previous owner had one done..

When you drop an exhaust valve...easy to do. Find a buddy and follow one of the many DIYs.
