yeah, i feel i am getting crappy mileage also. i get about 19mpg. 210 miles on 11 galons on average. tire pressure is good.

could this be why? i cruise at about 3200-3500 rpm. is that too high to be cruising on the streets. it feels normal to me, and if i have to cruise at like 2500 to save gas i would, but it feels too low.

what would be the best air filter to replace the stock filter. filter only.

That'll do it every time. If you're constantly in stop and go traffic and getting 15MPG, you're really not doing too bad.
If you want better mileage ... I have an '03 Civic HX for sale with under 25,000 miles on it. I'm going overseas and can take only one car ... the Civic is not getting the all expense paid trip.
My Civic can't seem to get less than 31 MPG ... that's the absolute worst it gets. Ive seen 47 MPG on long trips. Not as good as my old '95 VX or '91 CRX HF that I previously owned ... but not shabby.

I usually fill up right when the last bar disappears. There's usually about two gallons left in the tank when I do so. It's pretty consistent, but I don't know how other S2000's are.

I always tri to fill the car up when the gas light comes on, and tri hard not to let it go to 1 bar or under. The car runs like crap espicially w/ the s/c. It starts to hesitate when you shift and get on the gas.
