TepEvan,

I have the Spugen duals with oval tips. I also retained the OE mid-pipe silencer and resonator. Only the mufflers are different.

I was thinking to buy the Spugen SS duals with Ti tips because it looks very good with the car and it sound good too. But when my friend (who also have a S) gave me a ride in his S when he got his Spugen SS duals with Ti tips, it was too loud for me so I decided not to get it yet. I will probably try what you did hyperpm when I get one.

Do you guys think Spugen will sell me just the two muffler? (not the whole exhaust)

I have the Dual SS with Ti tips and I had a gain of 3.8 hp in 80 degree weather. I love the exhaust and for the price I think its unbeatable. Sorry to hear about your loss in horse power. Maybe you can gain it back like 4IG said. Good luck.

Hyper,

Did you reset the ECU after you installed the exhaust?

We have dyno'd all our exhausts from UL and have gained anywhere from 5 to 10. However, we have only done one back to back dyno (same day) on our sigle which showed a 7 hp gain. Below is a dyno from Wicky. He never got a baseline and this is from doing two runs within minutes from each other. End result was 224 at the wheels. He also has the AEM intake. Again, not sure what he might have dyno'd bone stock.

Sorry to hear that you lost power but most if not all of our cars at least locally has shown gains. Some more than others but they do show gains.

Here is Wicky's dyno using what you have:

Dual round N1 style:

Single N1 style:
