A change for those with no budget in mind, just like the MTL engine oil treatment. If you can afford it, why not? More care especially the engine is not a reversed reaction, it's only lack of care that raises concerns.

It is rumoured that Mugen is about to introduce their oil filter wrench. It will be gold colored and will have "MUGEN" imbossed on it in gold metal flake and black paint. It will retail for $97.99 and will come with an optional felt liner for an additional $23.94 so the Mugen filter can be removed without scratching, for those who wish to have it framed. Unfortunately, the Mugen wrench will NOT work on any other brand of filter. A chemical reaction will occur that renders the wrench useless if it touches an inferior filter.

only $97.99 for the wrench? That's pretty damn cheap for a mugen product. Sign me up.

Sorry, King doesn't do GB's. That would diminish the brand value.

King does it again (I love the spelling of efficiency in the second chart). It always gives me confidence in a post purporting to show technical excellence when someone displays QA/spelling incompetence. Naw whud eye meen?

Personally, I think this is snake oil - "the more you sock it to them, the more they like it". I reported a bad experience with King a while back, and in the end, they dissed me and told me to get lost - then a week later I get a letter with a "Dear Dealer" announcing some hefty price hikes. What the heck is up with that? No GB's, and haughty to dealer inquiries - plus, no margins to speak of, so they can maintain brand value - that is great if you are at the top of this Ponzi scheme.

Those numbers look within normal mfg tolerance, and I want to know who the others are - some look better, but a comparison without naming is like saying Garafalo is hotter than Phyllis Diller.

I ain't buyin any of it - I like xviper's perspective - spray it gold and everythig gets better - maybe we should start with the UN building.

What's next?

"Announcing Mugen Gold Air. Mugen is proud to annnouce its latest contribution to the S2000 community - pure Gold air. This is a 50,000 cubic foot Gold container towed behind the car, which supplies pure Mugen air from the Mugen plant in Japan. This replaces the shoddy American air. Mugen air will "prdooce hier efficnecy" but will only work with the Mugen Intake and Air filter, which are available at popular prices (popular to King and Mugen). Even though air is colorless, we have added value and been able to jack uop the price 10000000x by adding some gold dye to it - you never actually see it, but it provides confidence that your intake air matches your oil filter".
