Who wants more BOOST from VORTECH???

excellent, thanks Jenner this clears up alot. I was planning to go with the e-manage, but was unaware of it's shortcomings with the s2000. I'll have to wait and see what Greddy comes up with. A lot more s2000 owners seem to be using this, or getting ready to use this, so hopefully we won't have to wait long..... that's funny about UR, I had asked them if they were adjusting the timing much in their turbo kit and they said the timing was fine, but I didn't know that meant they weren't even using it.... d'oh!

You're right about the fact that I didn't know Vortech used different size pulleys than Comptech. I'm not trying to be mean to you just trying to share some of my experience. "Anyone can learn from their mistakes but the wise man learns from someone else's". That being said, I used cjb80 and his horror stories as much as possible to learn. I'm sorry if it came off like I was poking at you. As for how much experience I have with an e-Manage, I have one in my garage. I do not have an AEM. I've done extensive research on the e-Manage because it's a lot less costly than the AEM. I think if Trust can get it to work with the S2000 it will be the way to go for sure. Timing is your worst enemy when installing an aftermarket turbo / supercharger. It is far more dangerous than air/fuel. As for changing the pistons... I sent a stock piston to JE to have it copied. The material JE uses is different than the material Honda uses and it expands at a different rate and in different proportions. You can't just drop them in and lower the compression. This I do know for fact. Are you using any kind of an FMU? Which rate? The one that came with the Speedcraft kit is a Vortech 10:1 unit. With the 720cc injectors you surely can eliminate the use of one if you haven't already. Again, I am sorry for coming off like I was going after you.

750cc Injectors from Ultimate Racing? My Ultimate Racing turbo kit only came with 440cc injectors......why's that? Do you need that much more fuel in your engine? How much boost you gonna to run?

Thanks BS2KT, I know enough about the piston composition to be dangerous! d'oh! It was really my hope, that if I change the pistons in the future (higher or lower) that I wouldn't have to sleeve it right away. So it's more likely when changing the pistons, to sleeve the motor, than to get the material in the piston correct, yes? I'd like to know because whether or not I finally go with a SC, or a stroker, or both, I'm going into the motor, and this mad-science material Honda's using is still mysterious to me....

Jenner, check out the Aquamist System 2d water injection system (http://www.ppeengineering.com/). With this system, you'll get a much cooler fuel charge which will give you less spark retard from the stock ECU. Also, add 20 to 30% methanol to the water and your octane rating goes up. Its great system for $600.
