Who uses 5W40 all year around??

I think after reading most of the replies in this thread.. along with that mobile 1 website.. I think i'll just open up my own jiffy lube.

well I have read that European auto makers use Mobil 1 0w40 in all the merecedes AMG Porches Bmw factory fill so why cant we put it in our honda as these machines engines are just as precise and high tech

I live in the Mid-West and have only seen 0W-40 Mobil 1 on the shelf for about a year now. Maybe it was released and sold in Europe before the US market.

10W-30 or 5W-30 in cold climates might actually be a better choice. And what other production engine is like ours, high-revving that is ? 10W-30 requires a smaller mount viscosity modifiers, which would result in better protection for our engine.
