I want to ask if the shop is paying for this? They seized your motor up while test driving it (most liekly ragging the shit out of it) so they should be liable for your damages. And why were they test driving it if its just for coilovers?
This makes me sick! While I truly feel for KAZU, we know absolutely nothing about this situation or the circumstances involved.

SO DON'T MAKE ACCUSATIONS!

If the shop is reputable they will investigate why this happened (while in their care) and rectify the situation in an appropriate matter.

I put a request into J's to double check the pricing. Usually J's prices include a core charge. But that would be a monster to ship an engine to and from Japan. Also since Kazu's engine is blown they wouldn't take it in trade. The OEM JDM s2000s are rated at 250hp at the crank due to the higher compression

Kazu,
Is the dealership reimbursing you for seizing your engine? If they were test driving it and broke the engine they are responsible for fixing the problem. Since I live near you and know you from the "dragon" meets in North Carolina I would be more than happy to help you talk with the dealership.
If they arent going to pay for your engine to be fixed they are probably trying to take advantage of you because you have some difficulty speaking the language.

Once again if you need any help with the situation especially dealing with the dealership make sure to let me know by either email or pm!

Thank you, ccarnel

The shop are not honda dealership, one of auto turning shop.
They not yet check my engine(not open engine)because they are very busy.
They will check my engine after Dec.30th.
I think,test driver did over rev(shift miss)or something.
But they told me,just stop engine it can not restart.
When they open my engine, they will explain me what's happen.
I am waiting there anser.
I hope the shop paying for fix engine fee.

If the shop paying for fix engine fee,and that fee and J's engine price differnce is reasonable,
I want to choice J's one

JJ told me,I can use JDM F20C(11.7 compressin) with US S2K ECU and 93octan gas.

I really can't understand the reason the J's engine is SO cheap?? Damn that is Soooooooooooo cheap!! The same price with the Vortech supercharger???

Also some days ago I had posted a trhead about racing engines but you did say that it's only for racing (not for street) and you said that I need to change the pistons and other internals every 5.000 miles?? Now you say this is a simple street engine?????
Could you please reply to this?

SocratesDTC,

This is a street engine.
But It's not cheap.

J'S complete engine price
250ps JDM 2000cc:848,000yen=$7,709+shipping
260ps JDM 2000cc:948,000yen=$8,618+shippnig
280ps 8,600rpm/rev JDM 2.200cc:1,1148,000yen=$10,436+shipping

+shipping meaning from Japan.
I calculated 1$=110yen

I am still waiting answer from JJ about shipping fee.
When I receive answer,I will post it.

And I change 250HP to 250ps.
I read JJ mail,This engine get 250ps not 250HP.
I don't know what diffrent are ps and HP.

Thanks,
