I cannot believe that people are still having problems due to starvation/low oil level. for crying out loud!!

This is that bolt you can see in the middle of the head, below the valve cover, at the front of motor. Everyone should check the torque on this bolt on their car. Cheap insurance.

No not really, usually the o-ring will leak from age.
