I think a good note to be taken as well is the scorching seems to get worse from cyl 2 an back all the way to 4.

I cannot believe that people are still having problems due to starvation/low oil level. for crying out loud!!
How can you buy one of these cars and not be aware of this issue?
Anyway rant over and feeling your pain mate....

The camwheel is the end of the line for top end oil pressure. If it becomes loose, all pressure bleeds out from behind it.

This is that bolt you can see in the middle of the head, below the valve cover, at the front of motor. Everyone should check the torque on this bolt on their car. Cheap insurance.

The torque spec is....to be posted in a new post since can't edit posts...

Most of the time if this bolt is lose it will leak oil

No not really, usually the o-ring will leak from age.

Xeon if that bolt is loose your engine is junk in seconds. Loose will not cause leaks.
