Default white smoke when revving engine...help

Just bought a 03 with 115,000. I had it inspected and everything came back good. Compression was 210-205-207-208. The car pulls like it should. When i start the car, white smoke comes from the tailpipe and when i let it warm up and rev the engine a bunch of white smoke will come out as the rpms drop down. I guess a little tiny smokes come out when im accelerating to 9k, but its hard to tell.
-car doesn't overheat
-oil is normal color
-coolant is normal color, not milky at all

Any suggestions as to why the car smokes like that when i rev it?

Just my 0.02, inspect the car yourself. Most mechanics say they look things over and dont..id rather see myself or have one of the s2k mechanics on this forum look over the car. If the inspection was done by a dealership, to me thats basically saying that no inspection was done. IMO, the WORST place you can take the s2k is the dealer from my experience and others on this board. The dealerships are good for parts, thats about it..

Pull the plugs and post a pic of them on this thread. Plugs can speak volumes as to whats going on inside your motor.

White smoke, otherwise known as steam/condensation, is totally normal in cold start up, amount depends on environmental/temp conditions.

When fully warmed up, if it still smokes, it could be unburnt fuel or oil. But fuel is tan to black depending on how rich, and oil is blue-ish.

If its the latter of the two, wouldn't the condition of the plugs offer some indication or am I wrong on that? I could be, im def not an expert mechanic but if it were me that's one of the first places I would investigate. Back in the day my 86 Civic had the same issue. White smoke on accel and decel... the same as the OP is describing. I pulled the plugs and found one caked with black oil and that's how I knew I had a severe engine issue....not that the OP does..just sayin...

Plugs can certainly show or verify a particular issue, but not always, it really does depend on the severity. The plugs are in direct contact with combustion temps so there is a lot of cook off. To start seeing oil residue left behind, the issue has to be fairly severe at that point, usually you will see it from the exhaust first.

Unless it's blue or James Bond smoke screen bad, sounds normal.
