A minute later turned it back on and there was no more smoke?? Normal? First time it happend. I have an 05 w/23kmiles. Thanks guys

happened to me when i first got the car...never happened since

i attributed it to the new a/c system never being used, and i thought it was steam and not smoke

My 03 has always done it mostly at idle or in stop n go traffic. It comes and goes as the AC compressor cycles on and off. I wouldnt worry

It's just condensation, not smoke. Very common, especially in the summer (of course). It's like your breath in the winter...I think any A/C will do it under the right conditions.

He's right...and if you notice it only happens when you got it on fresh mode...like not recirculating the inside air because of course on the fresh air mode is getting the hot and humid air from outside....

hot humid day? push the recir button on the dash when the a/c is on. the a/c system is good so efficent that it is frosting the air just like when you go to the store and open the freezer door and it steams.
