I always focus on recent changes. I see you changed your oil recently. If you overfilled you may be ventilating Oil not just oil vapor out your PCV valve. The PCV valve (Pressure Control Valve) relieves crankcase pressure. The valve is located on the drivers side of the head midway between the filler cap and dipstick. It's an "L" with a hose that goes to the front most bump on the intake manifold. In normal use oil vapor, a major source of hydrocarbon pollution, is recombusted. If overfilled the oil is slung by the crank up into the head and out the PCV valve. Combustion of the oil creates the whitish plume.
It is fairly common in tracking the car even with correct oil level which is why people sometimes use catch cans. You vent to the can first to prevent this phenomenon.
Check your oil level.

Funny, i had just changed the oil right before this smoke incident happened with Castrol Edge 10w30.. but i used the right amount, about 5.5 quarts and the stick reads the oil at the very top X.. and yes i know to check both sides of the stick. Both sides read the same.
Checked the coolant yesterday after the car had sat for 24 hours and the radiator was full to the top. Took the car out for a 25 mile drive, all seemed normal. Even hit VTEC to see if i threw any noticeable smoke and nothing.. unless i see the white smoke again ill relax about it..

I've also noticed this with my S...On start ups, a good amount of white smoke/steam gets ejected out. Sometimes I can't see it and sometimes i see a large puff of it in my rear view mirror. At times when its cold I notice it at idles at a light and it also smells a like gasoline quite a bit.
The performance of my car doesn't seem affected. But it has me a little worried. If its just water in the exhaust...then nbd?

You said you used ~5.5 quarts. I see you have a 2001 like me:
Capacity:
4.8 US Quarts at oil change
5.1 US quarts at oil change including filter
5.9 US quarts after engine overhauled
Ref: Helm OEM Service Manual 8-5
You over filled it.......
Utah
P.S. Ask me how I know

Not according to the stick. engine off for a day, sitting on level ground im at the top X. Even if i overfilled it , we are talking a small amount. Please note i also included filling up the filter before install in that 5.5. So at most im looking at an overfill of .4. Not too concerned..the car will burn it off anyways within 1000 miles or so..always does.
