as for the "why a clutch type?" question i feel that an adjustable clutch type could be fun to have rather than a fixed torsen.

Potential problem with factory LSDs (whether Torsen or clutch-type) is that they can be not aggressive enough. Most factory LSDs run no preload and relatively low max lockup. Preload is good for smoother lockup. IOW, it's not the change from Torsen to clutch-type that improves performance. It's the aggressive nature of aftermarket LSD that helps.

i dont know if there is one available for the S but for the Z and G35 the Nismo diff is adjustable. you just need to take one side of the axle off and insert a wrench and clickit to your liking. one of our costomers has this and i just thought that there should be one available for the S also if there is one for the Z. do you know of any?
