Hey guys so recently I was on the freeway in 6th doing about 65-70 and I notice that when I let go of the gas the rear makes this noise like wood getting cut by a table saw, the noise is not very loud and can only be heard from the inside of the car and only happens in 5th & 6th when i let of the gas. Im thinking of changing the diff fluid maybe that will help it?

The previous owner of my car mentioned something about a sound from the rear differential on the highway, sounds similar to what you are describing. He said it was a fairly normal sound for S2ks, I have yet to hear it though, but I am not really listening for it.

^ Just felt the tires and there good. The noise was definitely coming through the drivetrain. I just dont know what it is >.<
