Default Where to get new CV joints?

Hi all

Having searched around the forums, I found the cause of my rear shakes would appear to be the CV joint problem. My symptoms match the known prob exactly.

Question is, can someone point me towards somewhere to get the parts I need? My local helpful trusted garage can do the work, I just want to get the parts!

thanks
Ian

Have you considered swaping them left to right?

This has been done by many people. You wouldn't have to buy any parts at all

Id sort of thought that wasnt a long term repair?

How expensive are the parts? Im driving around the UK for a week with the missus in the not to distant future so dont to risk anything........

thanks

Theoretically, it will last the same amount of miles as they did before they started the vibration.

I think you can buy the bucket, tripod, and 3 bearings as a kit from the dealer for 200 per side.

If you do change the tripod, make sure you install the new one with the exact same clock positioning.
