That's a Greddy hose adapter into which the sensor screws.

I was wondering if this is the right place for the sensor ?
It is placed in the return line and will not show the warmup phase because it is behind the tempvent. Before the engine reach 91 degree it will show cold .... right ???

Mine car usually shows three bars long before the temp gauge shows 180 degrees, which is why I've stopped hammering on the car since this information has come to light. I go by the temp guage and not the car's dummy light and feel much better doing so.
