where did you buy your Denso IK24's ??
nowhere in town has them. the guy at Checker auto parts didnt even know what i was talking about, hah.
is there a site any of you have ordered from?

Go to your yellow pages. Look for a speed or performance shop. Your in Las Vegas there has to be a few in your city. Most speed shops are small with not much stock at hand . BUT most have connections with big part warehouses and can get almost any item within a day (except crazy JDM stuff) Or just do a search on the web the densos are everywhere. Stay away from napa, checkers, autozone type places...they are clueless.

I don't know much about plugs, is there an honest improvement over stock plugs? If $10 plugs are worth a couple HP, they would be one of the best bang-for-the-buck mods.

those are non-resistor type plugs, I'd be wary of using them in this motor, I can't say for certain, but I believe our electronics require a resistor type to work correctly. I'm pulling from old memory here and may be incorrect, but it's something I would research before slapping in non-resistor type plugs, just to be safe.
but why not use the denso iridiums? they are possibly better than the platinums, many people are using them with good results, and are 5 bucks cheaper per plug.....
I wouldn't expect plugs to make any noticeable power improvement, it's more of something that can help other things make more power, i.e. using colder plugs in boost or higher compression situations to combat detonation......

Check out National Performance Center 5220 West Charleston Boulevard (702) 384-9080 . If anyone in town has them or can get them that's probably your best shot.

i am using non-resistor copper plugs with no ill effects. you guys should really look into copper plugs. for one they are cheaper and in my limited research have found that they offer more performance. sure you may change them more often but at $3 a plug you could change them 3 times and still be on top.
I'm sticking with my irid's though
