i had the top down and put a 14mm on it and forgot to grab it before the top went up. i heard it fall but i cant find it anywhere. even with a flash light i cant see it down on the sides where the softtop frame retracts to. is there somewhere else????? i dont hear it sliding around anywhere either

Behind the trunk carpet? My trunk is gutted and there's some room for stuff to fall back there. Maybe behind the seats?

no such luck in the obvious spots....but i did pull the spare tire and get a light back there and felt around.....and i found a plug that was not plugged in........it is a small clip with a white/red wire and a black wire,...it appears to come out of another wire.....anyone got any idea on that?????

pulled the panel off behind the seat,...closet to the door and no luck there either.
maybe that plug i found is for the hardtop defrost?

Was it near the side of the car when you pulled the top up? I had something fall into those cracks, couldn't see it, but sticking my hand in there I could feel it and pick it up. The crack with the bristles, so to speak. I think that's the same spot where you used your flash light.
