Where to buy throttle position sensor?
I finally got a check engine light for my problem I was having.
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?act=S...=0#entry9769894
The check engine light said my throttle postition sensor was bad.
Now I need a new one. Only thing is, they don't make one!
I must buy a whole throtle body! Is there a place that sells better or at least cheaper throttle bodys that include the TPS?
I found one at
http://www.scienceofspeed.com/products/eng..._throttle_body/
and

I got a new TB from spoon. It was about 500 bucks so. However, it is possible to drill the rivets for the TPS and buy a new one and thread holes to screw the new TPS into place. That is what spoon did. The unit i recieved from spoon was a stock unit bored out with new sensors so....

drill rivets and thread the new wholes and replace the unit. I would try a-jracing to see if they have something.

but it says that "66mm throttle body will require port matching to the intake manifold" does that mean that I can't just bolt it in and have it work?
I couldn't find just the TPS.

Wow. There is no love for this topic at all.
Am I the first person to have a TPS go bad?
Am I posting this on the wrong part of the forum?
Should a mod move this to the want to buy section?
I'm sorry if I'm asking to stupid of a question.

You are not to 1st to have a bad TPS.
You can not buy a TPS only from Honda, as you already know.
You can buy a used throttle body and swap the sensor if you have a Volt meter, but the TPS resistance on a S2k is a bit different than other Honda models. I'd reccomend finding a used s2k TB if you where going to try the sensor swap.
The screws that hold the TPS to the throttle body have tamper proof heads which have to be cut/slotted to remove them.
Quickest way to repair and most expensive, buy a new Throttle body.
Cheapest and most labor intensive with the posibility of screwing something up, swapping TPS sensors from another Throttle Body to yours.
The decision is yours.

Well spoon uses aftermarket sensors on a stock TB. I will get you a part number at least tomorrow and then you can check denso. Since they probably have the TPS on the stock TB. You can buy just the TPS for a lot of cars cept the S2000 lol. I will look on my spoon unit and get you the part # at least. Maybe that can shed some light. Then you just need to drill and tap new holes
