Default When i get my new s2000 what should i do first???

I should be getting a s2000 pretty soon this week hopefully, anyways i wat thinking that since i will be using this car for primary trasportation that i would go light on the mods. I was thinking about getting mabye a cold air snorkel, a la spoon aus2000, with an aftermarket filter, and putting on a cat back mugen exhaust. The exhaust i want purly for the sound and look and i dont care that i wont get any gains, but will the snorkel serve any purpose but fufilling my need to mod. Will i even hear a new sound, or gain anything. So should i leave the stock airbox or spend that 400 on the snorkel.

Take a driving course.. An S2K is capable of so much, spend your money on track days and save the mods for later

Upgrade your wheels and tires! [And sell the stock ones on ebay to offset the cost.] It'll make the car look so much better!

Have a good radar detector and check oil regularly.

Get your alignment checked. This will make sure the car is handling properly, and minimize tire wear. A lot of S2000s seem to come straight from the dealership with bad alignments.

Actually, the first thing you should do is read you owner's manual. After that, don't go above 5K RPM for the first 600 miles, check oil frequently, check tire pressure frequently, only use 10W-30 dino oil for leveling off, wait until 10K miles if you want to go to synthetic.
