when do you get the valves adjusted?

"so that 105,000 mile interval goes for most other cars too correct? "
I believe "Most" other cars have hydraulic lifters and do not require valve adjustments.
"oh and approx how much is it to get done?"
I'm not sure. Whatever it is, it's more then I care to spend to have someone else fack my shlt up.

The 105k miles / 7 year interval is correct, but the recommendation also includes adjustment if the valve train makes "excessive noise".
Also, just to add another perspective on the valve adjustment service interval...
About a year ago, I hosted a valve adjustment " tech party" at my house, and we adjusted valves on 5 cars. These cars had mileage ranging from 11k to 40k miles. Four of the five cars had valves slightly out of the specification range. All of the cars idled more smoothly and all of the owners were pleased with the improvement. Note that we adjusted the valves so that all of the intakes and all of the exhaust valves were each set to the same value (0.008" intake and 0.010" exhaust), not just within range (0.008-0.010" intake and 0.010-0.012" exhaust).
So, I recommend a valve adjustment on the S2000 long before the recommended mileage/time.
