Default Wheel not up against hub

I bought this s2000 back in September. I've replaced the wheel studs, tie rod ends and wheel bearings in both front wheels. I noticed on the driver's side wheel there is a 4mm gap between the wheel and the hub, which causes the rotor to back off and loosen up. Does anyone know what this problem might be? It's a large enough gap to fit my key into and I cannot tighten the wheel up against the hub.

Maybe a hub centric ring keeping the wheel from being flush? Do you have aftermarket or OEM wheels? Have you had aftermarket wheels in the past?

I sincerely hope he didn't make this mistake. That would be embarrassing! It still surprises me how many S owners don't know that the wheels are staggered, much less that the hub size is different.

You've got a rear wheel on the front.

Surely a front/rear swop would be obvious.?

Not if the tires were mounted wrong by the tire company. I had them try to mount fronts on rears and vice versa one time.
