Wheel Hub Assembly Needs to be Replaced
My hub assembly needs to be replaced, but my S2000 is my daily driver. I'd like to wait until my fiancee is off for winter break (she's a teacher) to get the car fixed. Am I endangering other components of the drive line by delaying getting it fixed?
It doesn't grind all the time, but it is definitely on it's way out. The noise comes and goes.

Plan on replacing the hub and the bearing if you do this. The bearing is pressed into the hub and when the bearing goes it can damage the hub. This in turn will kill new bearings since the tolerances will be off.
Also, be careful of draging this on too long. I've heard of people experiencing total hub failure.. ie, the wheel falls off. Not fun.
I problably went about 2000 miles before I replaced mine after it first started making noises. I experienced no problems.
