Its not perminant. Get a clab bar and it will come right off.

Even stock cars will turn the rear bumper black with a test pipe. Clean the bumper, wax it, and take care of it. The longer the soot sits on there, the harder it will be to clean off.

At this point you realize you did wrong by not getting a berlina/silverstone

I have a full invidia catback, invidia test pipe.....i can NEVER see the soot because of the shade of my car .

extend the tailpipe about a foot beyond your rear bumper. soot will magically transfer from your bumper to the tailgater behind you.
