TCT?
Just got a head gasket job and valve job, tuned and everything.
Started it up warm a few days later to check the plugs and it made this noise.
no misfire. Checked valve lash.
Anyone have any idea? Im hoping its just TCT.

How did you check valve lash? Sounds like tight valve lash to me.

sounds like you need to adjust the valves again.

A bad valve lash would just do that out of nowhere though?

I do not hear TCT noise there.

Take another vid, 6 feet away, hood closed. TCT noise will shine right through.

Ill get one asap. Its still audible from 6 feet away with the hood close. I do have a vented hood though.
What does it sound like to you?

also when turning the motor by hand the noise doesnt happen.

yeah i got a noise problem also but i really think its needing a valve adjustment hoping billman can get back in here and tell me what he thinks
