Default Whats my problem?

The other day I went to start my car on the street to pull it into my garage to replace my radiator and my car wouldn't start, so i pushed it in. I first pulled the spark plugs out and let the plugs dry while i removed the old radiator and installed my new Mishimoto radiator in. Afterwards i reinstalled the plugs and the car started right up. Drove to the store and a few times when i would come to a stop the car would die. I made it home and the car sat over night. Day 2 i went to start the car to drive to Kragen's to test the battery, alt, and starter the car wouldn't stop again. I got a ride to Kragen's bought 4 plugs, replaced them all and car starts again. Took for a test drive around the block and the car still dies when i come to a stop whether I'm in neutral or in gear, doesn't matter.

Any idea's what the problem may be and how to test/troubleshoot to see if that is in fact the problem?

Thats one of the things I thought about, Is it true you can test it by simply disconnecting the negative cable from the battery while the car is running, car dies=alt bad, car stays on=alt good??

Thanks for the idea
