I've heard good things about Castrol GTX (dino oil). You might also want to consider Mobil One synthetic, but don't let the higher price fool you into thinking it makes your car run faster or smoother.
As for filter, use the OEM filter.

Honda OEM, NAPA Gold, or Mobil 1 filters are all very good.
For oil, I am now using Castol Syntec 10W-30 and VTEC appears to be more pronounced vs. Mobil 1 10W-30.
JMHO.

I investigated oil filters and found some comparisons on this forum. From that comparison I chose Amsoil. I'm now using Castrol but will change to Mobil-1 after two more oil changes.

Never use GTX, man it's some cheap engine oil that no one puts in a high revving performance car. If you really want Castrol ... Use SLX, but it's not available in the states I believe. 0W30 is the grade and it's quite expensive for a 5 litre bottle at USD$45 each. And I think the Honda genuine oil filter is probably the best choice for any Honda car.
