I recently got my 01 s2000 and i was wondering which intake and exhaust systems give the best performance and sound. I was looking at the toda system it looks really nice but its a bit pricy at 1500. But i dont want some shitty fart can on my s2000. k thanks guys

i have a fujita cai and hks hi-power duel exhaust. the fujita i think is rated for 8 hp gained. it is deep and throaty. it matches very well with the hks. cai cost me 268 i believe and new hks are around 700.

Wow... why not just come out and ask for the meaning of life while you are at it.....
Different exhausts for different needs/wants. To label one "the best" is going to be impossible... but there is a "Best Of" class.
I myself am partial to Comptech products.

The best intake is an air intake. The combustion engine operates on air. As for exhaust systems, I would recommend that you get one. If there is no way to expel the exhaust gases, the engine will die.

In terms of quality generally you get what you pay for, so just bear that in mind when considering different parts for the car
Best sound is something very personal ... your best bet is to get out to some meets and hear them in person, theres nothing like hearing them in person
Hope this info helps

you will be limited if you live in california. but you have not listed where you are from, so i dont know what best intake would be.
do to living in california, i am limited in what i can do under the hood. i put in the AEM V2 intake... and love it!
probably didnt do anything really, but it sounds great!
as for exhaust... i dont have an opinion. i am afraid of being too loud. they are really cracking down on the volume level here.
good luck with what you end up doing!
