What is your oil change interval?

Every 3,000 miles. With Mobil1 synthetic 10W30. I use the OEM filter. My car has 8,000 on the clock. First time using Mobil1 was at 6,000 miles, so 1,000 miles more and it will be the second time using this oil.

I am going to be forced to switch to my favorite oil, Mobile One, at 3000 miles due to the S/C, as I don't want to run it on dino oil. I have a big supply of HAMP Jap. oil filters. In all the tests on filters, I would stay away from the Honda (mostly Fram) as the check valve is plastic instead of metal. It came in "unacceptable" in the test I read. The $3.00 STP filter is said to be made by the same people that make the Mobile One filter, but lacks the special coating on the filter material, but does have the steel check valves. I have been using Honda filters on our CRV for 38K w/ no problems, but as soon as I run out I am switching to STP on the CRV. HAMPS will be on the S2000, as these are the High Perf. version of what really came originally on the S2000 (Japanese made Honda filter), but smaller and keeps up oil pressure on VTEC engagement. Someone much more technical than I will surely pop up and explain this better than me. PS...I wanted to run the orig. oil at least 5000 miles, but I don't want to run the S/C on anything but M-1. I'm going to continue with Castrol GTX dino oil at 3750 mile intervals until 15,000 miles.
At 15,000 miles, I will be going with mobil1 synthetic at 5000 mile intervals.
That's my plan. Oil filter each time.... 10W30

I let Honda do all the servicing on my car. Don't know what was in the engine from the first fill, but the first change was Honda FEO Type R oil. (Fully Synthetic). 85,000km, 3 years and no problems.

I may be wrong, but I doubt those "other" cars have "ceramic" type liners. Funny how people are so easy to say, "But these other cars don't this or aren't that.............!" And I doubt those other engines don't have rings that fly by the cylinder walls at "a gazillion miles per hour" either, necessitating a special liner! (Just my guess.)
