Cool! FWIW, I remember a past issue of HyperRev on the S2000 said the earlier Cats were different than the newer ones. They also said they were high flow cats already; ymmv.

All (and this time it's really ALL) OEM S2k cats are metal foil high flow cats.

To cbezzy01: your cat has a loose core. That will not change how it works, smog-wise.
It's the secO2 sensor that's broken by a core shifting backwards, that prodeces a CEL saying "cat not efficient" or "power circuit of sec O2 broken" (I don't recall the actual OBDII codes etc)
Do not put a new sensor in a cat with a loose core, you'll be replacing sensors a lot and the OEM's are .... not cheap.

Installing a single o2 spacer in the cat is cheap insurance that your cat will never break your o2.
Cat media coming loose and breaking the o2 sensor tip off is very common.
