Default What was wrong with my clutch?

I noticed about a week ago that my clutch pedal was "sticky" at the top. i did what billman said and lubed up my clutch fork and the CSC pin. It just so happened that the slave cylinder broke when i took it off and replaced it with a new one. With a complete flush of the fluid, the sticky clutch was still there, that is until yesterday; i was getting on to the highway and nobody was around so i ran it threw some gears, after comming off the highway my clutch felt totally differnt. Softer, no stickines and overall better feeling. What was wrong or how did that fix the problem? Thanks

Your car was just mad at you for not driving it hard.

I have had similar things happen. My only guess is maybe a build up of clutch dust or the springs in the disc frozen/stuck in place. Then after apply some force/heat to them all that stuff breaks free. Knocking off the cobwebs so to speak.

My theory is if you dont ride it hard then it will tighten up.

Same thing happened to me. I was going to try some of the fixes I found on s2ki but the problem went away by itself.
