What would crack a lowering spring?

Anyways just bought another spring from ground control for $70 shipped.
Would there be any issue with replacing just one spring e.g. slightly different stiffness?

My Eibachs have a million mile warranty. :-\

According to ground control the eibach springs never say or lose spring rate. So I'm hoping that is accurate and there won't be a difference.

^Good to know, my DC5 on Tein S-Techs dropped .5" more after five years. My AP2 is on Eibachs.

It cracked in an S-shape.
(with the spring on an S2000 that simply can not be coincidence....)
