What is the V-AFC?
Is there anyone out there who can explain this to me?
I was wondering what kind of power gains, if any, I would get from installing one. Are there any shops in the upstate NY area that install and tune these?
I have done searches and didn't really find anything.
Back when I had my 5.0 mustang I had a stand alone computer management system from ford racing. It was nuts you could do absolutely anything with it. If the V AFC is like that then I think I would stay away from it. Just because it was a lot of work to install and it was just a headache.
Any help would be appreciated.

Assuming you read the info @ apexi-usa.com....
Most people have a proffesional tune their VAFC on a dyno, but it is not unheard of to do it yourself with an Air/Fuel ratio gauge (this would be important...). If the person installing or tuning it is cool, ask them to teach you how to use it more in depth... If you are going to mess with is after it is tuned, be sure you have an a/f ratio gauge installed in your car, not just when the person is tuning it... If you want an aftermarket ecu, it would be a pointless purchase as the data will contain new ignition points and ratios, as well as a lower VTEC engagement point. If you wanna save yourself some cash, and want the ability to tune yourself, go for it... I am still sitting here debating...
