if the tranny drain plug fell, why would the ensuing damage be covered under warranty? just curious.

Subscribing to this thread. My 2nd gear has always been finicky, and now 5th and 6th are starting to act up a bit, too. Curious to see where this thread goes.

me too... had my 1-2 grind fixed a while ago and now its happening again but only once in a while

What did you have fixed exactly?

was it under warranty?

I doubt my dealer will open up and inspect my tranny for damage just cuz I say "i've grinded it a few times per month"

They will probably just test drive it and say "there's nothing wrong"

what do you guys think?

This was done under warranty a few years ago under the TSB. If I'm correct it was the synchros. But I have also had my inner cv joints replaced recently having 70+k on the car. Honda Good Will'd it

too bad the TSB doesn't apply to my car since my car is an 03.
