I'm looking at the Comptech and Mugen front swaybar, and I'm trying to decided if it's worth anything to get their respective matching rear bars. (Primary focus is road racing.)

I can answer your first question, "stock specs";
F: 28.2 x 5.0
R: 27.2 x 5.3

Which combination would render improvement would be determined by your driving style. However, the OE rear with the Mugen 31mm front stabilizer works well for a large cross section of owners.

An experiment that is probably worth trying for road racing is to go with the stock front and the smaller Mugen rear (rather than the Mugen front and the stock rear). The affect should be similar, but maybe better balanced than the heavy front bar which is a technique prompted by autox rules that don

True. However, most of that large cross-section of owners, as far as I can tell, are concerned with staying within SCCA Stock Solo II rules, which prohibits changing the rear swaybar. That isn't a concern for me. So far as I know, there hasn't been anybody out there to modify the rear bar...

Regarding going with just the rear (Mugen's smaller one being 25.4 x 4.5) I'm concerned about loosening things up in general. Balance might be attained, but perhaps that would lower the limits in general?

Any input from somebody who's had experience tuning suspension in such ways?
