I want to change my fipk filter out with an AFE Pro 5R but, I don't know what size I should get. Should I get the stock size or get some wider/longer? Car will be reflashed. Can someone give me a couple ideas of which models would work well on here?

Anything wrong with your K&N Filter? The OEM size filter might be too big for the FIPK box...

There is nothing wrong with my K&N filter other than I need to take it off, clean it, and reoil it. I'd prefer to let it air dry for a few days before putting it back in so I want to get another filter to use. Might as well have two filters just in case. I heard the AFE filter is pretty good so I'm looking to purchase that filter (plus it's cheaper).

For anyone who is wondering, I contacted AFE and they told me the part no. for the K&N replacement is 21-40507 (linked for the lazy). It's sold out at the moment but I can PM the number for their Direct Sales guy to anyone who wants it.

Ahhh...I hear ya...luckily I have a second car I can drive when I clean my filter. Just did that last weekend as a matter of fact =D.
