I am sure all of you would want me locked up if you went on a drive with me in the backroads of MT. But thats a whole other post..I switched S02's very fast. I think i need better tires for the street now.

Thanks for teh surmon i know everyone thinks there the best driver. I DO NOT THINK THAT. I think that i am at my cars limits and need further testing. IE my track idea.

Ok, priority number 1. Get yourself to a track for a weekend Driving Event(DE).

Spokane raceway isnt too terribly far from you.

They have a BMW club school coming up, you might be able to get enrolled in that. Ask about being a convertable tho.

A little further still is Pacific raceways...

To find other tracks try this link...

Nope. Different organisations different rules and regs, tho some of it may be shared between the two.

Here's another idea, just to see if you really are at the limits of your car's abilities. Get a hot-lap timer rigged up in your car. Find your way to the track and do a couple of sessions and see what kind of times you are putting down. Then, get an instructor to drive your car for a few laps and see what kind of times they put down. If your times are faster than theirs, then you might be near the limits of your car's abilities. If your times are close to their times, just keep in mind that 1) They may have never driven an S2000, and 2) This is not their car, so they probably aren't driving 10/10ths.

I don't know you, and I've never seen you drive, so I can't comment on your driving abilities. I just want to make sure that your perspective of your driving abilities are skewed by your ego. (Trust me, we've probably all been there).

what about the hondata gasket and cooling mods? The car will run better on the road and at the track.
Other than that, I agree Fong 110%.
