What should i pay for a clutch change?
My clutch needs changing. What sort of money should i be expecting for the change. Been quoted £600, is that about right?
Also, while i'm getting the clutch and the valve adjustments done. What other things could i do at the same time to save on labour and get the car tip top? Mines an 2002 AP1 with 94k. Hoping the clutch change will fix clutch buzz as well as remove a judder i get under acceleration (fingers crossed!)
thanks all

Labor on average is eight hours at the local rate... here in the States labor from $400 - $800 is not unusual. Parts total will also vary from $400 to $800. Be sure you use an OEM friction disk to eliminate clutch buzz.

Current exchange rate is 1British pound=1.61 USD. So it's in the ballpark. As CD said use the OEM Honda friction disk. Make sure the replace the pilot bearing and throwout as well while in there. At they'll of this thread in the FAQ section there are some clutch replacement threads. It is a lot of work. As to the 90k check up search this forum "90k maintenance". Look for a thread by Superazn. Look for Billman250's reply on that thread. He covers what you want to check in great detail what to look for at 90 k (miles).......you'll have convert if you are in km's. Good maintenance info either way.......
